Hi, I’m Andrea, the heart and hands behind Creating in Maine. My journey began as a stay-at-home mom and crafter, exploring various creative outlets until I discovered my passion for sublimation. Sublimation is a printing process that transforms solid dye into gas, allowing for vibrant, durable designs on a variety of materials. This newfound love quickly evolved into a thriving small business, where I’ve had the joy of fulfilling over 1,800 orders on Etsy, along with 450+ five-star reviews, not to mention countless orders from local events.

In September 2024, I took a big leap by opening my own storefront, Creating in Maine. This space was designed to be a haven for creatives of all ages. Our showroom showcases not only my artwork but also pieces from talented Maine makers. Behind the scenes, we have classrooms where anyone can sign up to teach or learn a craft in a welcoming, non-discriminatory environment.
